Child must be between the ages of 10 months and 3 years old.

The Parent/Child Class is the first step in our Learn to Swim Program. The adult and child will enter the water together, learning effective ways to have the child become acquainted with the water. Songs, toys, and games are used as effective tools to encourage water play—a ratio of one adult per child.

All instructors are certified by the American Red Cross to teach swim lessons. Please observe classes from the pool deck to avoid distractions for participants. Feel free to ask your child's instructor any questions at the end of the class.

Parents: We encourage you to get to know our instructors! Please feel free to ask them questions, provide information regarding your child, etc. Please keep in mind that your child may need to repeat a level several times; this is completely normal! The instructors have the participants' best interests in mind, and repeating a level will help your child become a better swimmer overall. We appreciate your support and understanding!
